Day 1
: Arrival at Gangtok
Arrive in Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Check-in at the hotel.
Evening: Visit MG Marg for local shopping and dining.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2
: Gangtok Local Sightseeing
Visit Tashi Viewpoint for spectacular mountain views.
Explore the Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok temples.
Visit the Enchey Monastery and Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom.
Explore the famous Banjhakri Falls and Flower Exhibition Center.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 3
: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
Early morning drive to Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake at 12,400 feet.
Visit the nearby Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, dedicated to an Indian army hero.
If time permits, visit Nathula Pass (subject to availability and permits).
Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Day 4
: Gangtok to Lachung
Post breakfast, start for Lachung (125 km, 6-7 hours drive).
En route, visit Seven Sisters Waterfall and Naga Waterfall.
Reach Lachung in the evening and check into the hotel.
Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 5
: Lachung - Yumthang Valley
Early morning, head towards Yumthang Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers.
Enjoy the beauty of the valley with its colorful flowers and hot springs.
Return to Lachung for lunch.
If time permits, visit Yumesamdong (Zero Point) for snow.
Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 6
: Lachung to Pelling via Gangtok
Travel back to Gangtok and onward to Pelling (5-6 hours drive).
Evening free to explore Pelling or relax.
Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 7
: Pelling Sightseeing & Departure
Visit the famous Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdentse Ruins.
Explore Rimbi Waterfall and Khecheopalri Lake, a sacred lake.
Finally, visit the iconic Singshore Bridge, the highest suspension bridge in Sikkim.
Departure from Pelling to the nearest airport or railway station for your onward journey.

Best Time to Visit

March to June (spring-summer) and September to November (autumn) are the best times to explore Sikkim. Winter (December to February) is ideal for those who love snow.

How to Reach

By Air: The nearest airport is Bagdogra Airport (IXB), about 124 km from Gangtok. Private cabs and shared taxis are available from the airport. By Train: The nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), about 148 km from Gangtok. By Road: Sikkim is well-connected by road from Siliguri, Darjeeling, and Kalimpong.

Closing Day

Nathula Pass is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. It also depends on weather conditions. Pemayangtse Monastery and most tourist spots are open all days.
